I made these edits to put on my website, they are both short but I quite like the way I have edited the clips, I think it will give the audience a sneak peak of how the documentary is going to be. I enjoyed making these videos and it is a good way to make my website slightly more interactive than just still pictures.

I am going to find some interesting facts about social media that I can use for the VoiceOver in my documentary. I want to find facts that will shock people and then possibly some facts that will be more light hearted and fun about social media as I don't want it to come across as a 'lesson' for teenagers.  Some Facts:  There are 3.5 billion social media users worldwide, that's around 45% of the worlds population. We spend a lifetime average of 5 years and 3 months on social media.  Instagram has 1 billion users. Actors learning their lines

Trying to figure out a topic for my documentary

I was struggling to come up with a topic, so I decided to sit down and brainstorm. I thought about what documentaries interest me out of ones I have watched, then I thought about the topic of some of those favourites and started to think if I could do something like my favourite ones. My two top ones were the Jesy Nelson 'odd one out' and 'Jade the reality star who changed Britain' and I saw the link between reality stars and how social media had effected them both. And so I then started to just write down my ideas of what I find interesting and what I would like to learn more about and possibly educate more people about. Once I wrote down after ideas I then had to think about what I could really do with those ideas and if I could turn my topic idea into an actual documentary.
